MyChessTutor is an online chess tutoring service. We offer private, one-on-one lessons to players of all levels, from the chess hobbyist to the competitive player. Our experienced chess tutors provide personalized instruction in real-time.
We work with students of all levels & backgrounds. As far as age, our youngest student is 5 years old, and our oldest is 88! If you enjoy chess as a hobby or if you plan to compete, we can work with you.
We do lessons over Zoom and use an interactive online chess board like this one. You don't need a physical chess board. Safe and convenient learning from home!
We offer only private, one-on-one lessons. This means you'll get 100% attention from your instructor and develop your skills in a highly-targeted and personalized manner. You'll improve so quickly!
We offer 30, 45, and 60 minute lessons.
We offer lessons 7 day a week (Mon-Sun), from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm (all USA time-zones). You can select your preferred time-slots when you sign-up. Perfect for busy people!
You can select from 1-3x/week. If you're starting out, we recommend 1-2x/week, but if you have more competitive or serious goals, then you can choose to do lessons 3x/week.
We offer a number of programs catering to various budget levels. Our starting rate for lessons is $40 USD per session, but depending on your budget, needs, and goals, the fee per session can be higher. We would be happy to discuss your options in our intro session call.
